Some of the material in my talk has been successfully performed while on my recent UK wide tour with a one man show (accompanied by my quadrupedal friend Alfie) entitled 'Once Upon a Labrador' (June 2017-August 2018)
The talk offers a good lesson in comedy writing, and what makes one programme a success while others fail, useful for aspiring writers. I have a Masters degree from the UEA in Creative Writing (script writing) and was for some years co-producer of an annual comedy writing festival for TAPS, and tutor at The Actor's Centre, in London.
I am a full member of BAFTA, The Writer's Guild of Great Britain, Directors UK, PRS for Music and Equity.
